Thai Table Massage
Table Thai Massage brings the benefits of Thai massage to the comfort of my adjustable massage table. I will use my hands, elbows, knees, and feet to guide you into a series of yoga-like stretches while also applying rocking, compressions, acupressure, and other Thai massage techniques.
-
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release ivolves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Typically little to no oil is applied to the body so that fascial restrictions can be detected and the appropriate amount of sustained pressure can be applied to facilitate release of the fascia.
-
Reiki
Reiki is an energy healing modality from Japan that uses “universal life energy force” channeled through my hands to help move stagnant energy and release blockages for emotional and mental wellbeing.
-
Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic massage is a popular gentle modality used to stimulate the general function and flow of the lymph system. This is an essential part of the circulatory system that contributes to total bodily function, particularly in transporting nutrients, oxygen, and white blood cells to tissues and organs throughout the whole body.
-
Cupping
Cupping massage utilizes dynamic movement of reverse pressure cups. Cupping can be applied as a gentle lymphatic massage or as a deep tissue myofascial massage. Cupping can help encourage the body to engage in detoxificaton.
-
Reflexology
Reflexology is the application of therapeutic pressure to areas of the feet, stimulating reflex or meridian points to address the whole body. The work starts and ends with hot towels, and depending on your needs can include stretching for the foot and leg and the use of a Thai acupressure stick.
